Convocation

Convocation is the culmination of students hard work. Ahead of each Convocation season social media is brought in to support the communications campaign to ensure graduates have all the information they need to participate.

The campaign follows this schedule:
• Save the date: Goes out a month before the end of the final term of eligible graduates.
• Graduates you have mail: Aligns with initial graduate email and mirrors critical dates and information.
• Gowning information (reminder): Aligns with second graduate email
• Deadline reminder: Sent out one week and three days before and day of deadline
• Convocation Etiquette: Sent out the end of the week prior to ceremonies
• Venue Reminders: sent out day before first ceremony
• Stream on Youtube: shared 1 hour prior to each ceremony (Feed and Stories with DM Automation)
• Ceremony Recaps: shared within 2 hours of the conclusion of the ceremony
• Moments: shared to stories throughout the ceremony
• Where to find photos: shared week following ceremonies
• Candids: shared week following ceremonies (Instagram Carousels, Facebook Album)
